About BRALIM
A welcoming community where Ugandans in the Netherlands build friendships, preserve culture, support one another and contribute positively to Dutch society.
A non-profit community, built on belonging
BRALIM is a non-profit community organisation connecting Ugandans in the Netherlands. We bring together families, students, professionals, entrepreneurs, young people and friends of Uganda through community programmes, cultural activities, networking opportunities and charitable initiatives.
Our Story
BRALIM was established to create a welcoming community where Ugandans can build friendships, preserve culture, support each other and contribute positively to Dutch society. What began as a handful of families sharing meals and memories has grown into a community with a shared purpose — to belong, to give back and to thrive.
Our Vision
To build a united, empowered and thriving Ugandan community in the Netherlands that preserves its heritage, supports one another and contributes positively to Dutch society.
Our Mission
To connect, support and empower Ugandans living in the Netherlands through community engagement, cultural preservation, education, volunteerism, partnerships and charitable action.
